When I was 11, I fell in love with painting when I discovered Bob Ross on PBS and received my first painting set. I’ve been painting even since.
Face painting gives me the opportunity to use my background in art and design to share the joy of creating with others. It let’s them become part of the creation.
Face painting adds laughter and playfulness to any event. People of all ages enjoy becoming a work of art. I’m looking forward to sharing that with you at your next event.

About Annie Paints Face Painting
Is Annie Paints Insured?
Yes! We are fully insured.
How many faces can you paint in an hour?
I can usually paint between 8 – 12 faces an hour, depending on the complexity of the design. For larger events I can cut back to very simple designs and could do up to 20 faces.
What do I need to supply?
I provide all of my own face paint and gear, including a table an chair. I just need a small space to set up, with good lighting, indoors or outdoors.
Do you do charity events?
Yes, I love helping out organizations who have missions I want to support. Contact me and see what we can come up with to help you out.
How do I book an event?
You may either email me, or fill out the form located on the rates and services page of the site. All inquiries will be responded to within 24 hours. Once we have acknowledged the date and time of the event, I will email you a link to my booking contract along with an invoice for the deposit ($30, which will go towards the total cost of your event). After the contract has been filled out and sent back to me and the deposit has been paid, your event is booked and secure.
How do I pay you?
Payments for face painting and/or tattoo services are made on the day of the event, in cash, or via PayPal at least one day before your event. IMPORTANT: Bookings are not confirmed and your date will not be held unless the deposit has been paid.
Cancellations/Rescheduling
In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule, please call or email as soon as possible and we will do our best to work something out! Your deposit will be refunded if a cancellation is made at least 7 days before the scheduled event.
What type of face paint do you use?
I use only the safest, highest quality, FDA compliant, cosmetic-grade paints designed for use on the skin and around the eyes. The brands I use are Wolfe FX, TAG, and Diamond FX. All face painting glitter is cosmetic-grade and approved for use around the eyes. Although I must stress that these are the best brands on the market, reactions can occur (though it is rare) - please inform the face painter if your child has particularly sensitive skin so that a test swatch may be done before painting.
How do I remove the paint?
Face paints are easily removed with mild soap (baby shampoo is recommended), warm water and a wash cloth. You can see my video about how to remove face paint the easy way here. Baby wipes are convenient, but not recommended for face paint removal as rough wiping can cause irritation.
Can you create designs based on a theme?
Yes! If your event has a theme (ex., a "pirates and princesses" themed children's party, holiday function, etc.), please contact me so that I may prepare appropriate designs.

Glitter Tattoo FAQ
What are glitter tattoos?
Glitter tattoos are form of body art that is applied using a stencil and adhesive made specifically for skin. They are water and sweat proof and can last 3+ days. Glitter tattoos can be removed with rubbing alcohol. They are a great choice for pool parties!
